High school
Qingdao No.9 High School (Sino-German Branch). Qingdao No.9 High School was founded by German Sinologist Richard Wilhelm in 1900 and used to be called Wilhelm Academy. It is the first new-type middle school in the modern history of Qingdao, one of the 100 most famous middle schools with a history of 100 years in China, and a standardized school in Shandong Province.
The new campus of Qingdao No.9 High School is situated in Sino-German Ecopark (No. 559 Qixinghe Road). It has 60 classes and teachers of seven languages including English, Japanese, French, German, Korean, Spanish and Arabic. It hires nearly 20 foreign teachers.
