China's first patent-intensive product insurance took effect in the Qingdao Area of the China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone, as known as Qingdao FTZ, on Feb 22, setting a nationwide model for integrating financial services with intellectual property protection and innovation.

3月5日、青島市越境EC海外倉庫資源マッチング会が成功裏に開催されました。今回のマッチング会は17カ国に分布する39箇所の海外倉庫の資源に焦点をあて、政策によるエンパワーメント、金融サポート、資源へのアクセスを通じて、対外貿易企業の「海外進出の開拓拠点」の建設を支援します。試験区青島エリアの関係部門は主要な海外倉庫運営業者8社及び対外貿易企業の代表100社余りをマッチング会に招集しました。

最近、山東省科技庁は省級の技術革新センターを正式に発表し、自由貿易試験区青島エリアにおける山東省ゲノム編集育種技術革新センターの建設が許可され、今回許可された10の技術革新センターの1つとなり、また、青島市の今回許可された唯一のものでもあります。

2月18日、日本荏原環境工程プロジェクトの開業式が青島国際経済合作区で成功裏に開催されました。在青島日本国総領事の斎藤憲二氏、山東省自由貿易試験区青島エリア管理委員会副主任・青島国際経済合作区管理委員会常務副主任の王莉氏、青島国際経済合作区管理委員会副主任の張雲清氏が式典に出席しました。また、日本みずほ銀行、三菱UFJ銀行などの関係機関の責任者のほか、荏原中国、荏原電産、荏原機械、荏原冷熱システムなど、荏原グループの各事業の会社責任者も共同で参加しました。

The Phoenix Register of Shipping (PHRS), a globally renowned ship inspection and certification organization, established its Asian headquarters in Qingdao Free Trade Zone (FTZ) on Feb 18, marking the city's first ship classification society headquarters in Asia.

On 30th October, the first water heater of the Water & Ecology Connected Factory, a major project in Shandong Province, was officially launched in Sino-German Ecopark in Qingdao FTZ, marking the completion and putting into production of the Water & Ecology Connected Factory, a leading enterprise in IoW, and the development of the smart home appliance water manufacturing industry in the area.

On 25th October, the Commissioning Ceremony of Qingdao Pingxin CMP polishing material R&D and production base project was held in Sino-German Ecopark in Qingdao Free Trade Zone.
