1. Project Introduction
BWT Water Treatment Equipment Manufacturing Project, with a total investment of 60 million euros (equivalent to 460 million yuan), registered capital of 24 million euros (equivalent to 180 million yuan) and 51% foreign investment. The first and second phase of the project covers an area of 92 acres, mainly engaged in the research and development, production and sales of water purification equipment. It is planned to reach full production in 2023, with an output value of about 200 million euros (equivalent to 1.5 billion yuan) and an annual tax contribution of 25 million euros (equivalent to 180 million yuan).
The project is the 6th global and the single R&D and production base in the Asia-Pacific region of BWT Group, which owns the most professional water treatment technology and a number of invention patents in Europe, and will fill the domestic gap of magnesium mineralised water, pearl skin water and water for injection technology. The project will also leverage the Haier COSMO intelligent manufacturing platform and Haier Research Institute to introduce global high-end technical experts in water purification, and build the most advanced intelligent and interconnected factory in the industry as the R&D, technology and manufacturing base for water purification in the Asia-Pacific region; furthermore, relying on the global supply chain of the BWT Group, the project will introduce 3-5 core industry suppliers, and fully bring the industrial agglomeration effect as a leading enterprise into play.
