According to statistics of Qingdao Customs, in the first quarter of 2022, imports and exports of general trade of Qingdao were 131.13 billion yuan which was increased by 7.2%, accounting for 67% of the city's total import and export value. In the same period, imports and exports of bonded logistics reached 32.04 billion yuan which was increased by 46.9%.

The export of mechanical and electrical products accounted for more than 40%, and the export growth rate of labor-intensive products exceeded 20%. In the first quarter, export of mechanical and electrical products of Qingdao's was 52.47 billion yuan which was increased by 6.8%, accounting for 45.6% of the city's total export value, and making the export growth rate increased by 3.4%. Among them, the export of auto parts and general machinery and equipment increased by 18.4% and 0.6% respectively. In the same period, the export of labor-intensive products was 23.81 billion yuan which was increased by 20.5%, accounting for 20.7% of the city's total export value, meanwhile the export of agricultural products was 9.21 billion yuan which was increased by 2.8%.
