Connecting Shandong with Fortune Global 500 - Diehl Electronics Qingdao Production Base Project settled in Qingdao Free Trade Zone • Sino-German Ecopark

On the afternoon of February 11, Qingdao Free Trade Zone • Sino-German Ecopark signed the cooperation agreement on Qingdao Diehl Production Base Project" with Diehl Electronic Controls (Nanjing) Co., Ltd. in the high-end equipment industry cooperation event of Connecting Shandong with Fortune Global 500. Secretary of Shandong Provincial Committee of the CPC Li Ganjie, Governor Zhou Naixiang, secretary of Qingdao Municipal Committee of the CPC Lu Zhiyuan and other leaders witnessed the signing online and offline.

Zhang Yunqing, deputy director of Administrative Committee of Qingdao Sino-German Ecopark, signed the cooperation agreement with Hobelsberger (霍夫安), chief financial officer of Diehl Electronic Controls (Nanjing) Co., Ltd..

 

As the only contracted project in Qingdao of Connecting Shandong with Fortune Global 500, the successful settlement of the Diehl Electronics Qingdao production base project will further enhance the park’s resource advantages in the field of high-end equipment industry as well as add new German elements to the Sino-German Ecopark, contributing to the promotion of starting and making a good layout of attracting investment to Shandong province for the whole year. It is reported that the Diehl Electronics Qingdao production base project in the Sino-German Ecopark has a total investment of 40 million US dollars, and will build a leading white goods supply production base in the country. The initial investment of 20 million US dollars will be used to build 5 production and assembly lines of electronic control panels, and the trial production is expected to begin by the end of June 2023. When the project is fully put into production, it will achieve an annual output value of 500 million yuan, providing electronic controllers and panel assembly systems for well-known household appliance brands such as Haier. At present, Sino-German Ecopark is negotiating with Diehl Electronics on the delivery of industrial plants and enterprise services to promote the project to be put into operation as soon as possible.
