On August 18, Qingdao Sino-German Ecopark Sub-branch of Bank of China was opened, and it was the third bank starting business in Sino-German Ecopark in a month, following after Sino-German Ecopark Sub-branch of Qingdao Rural Commercial Bank and Riyueshan Road Branch of Postal Savings Bank of China, which were opened respectively on July 22 and July 24.

Since its inception one year ago, Qingdao FTZ has been a new fertile ground for financial institutions. With more and more banks setting up branches here, remarkable innovation achievements has been made and the financial services in Qingdao Area has been further enriched.

As an integral part of Qingdao Area, Sino-German Ecopark is accelerating the implementation of experimental policies in financial innovation, in a bid to attract high-end financial resources with various preferential policies. From January to July 2020, 39 financial institutions entered the park, bringing the tally to 78.
