On October 24, the groundbreaking ceremony of Phase I of Goodaymart Logistics was held in Qingdao International Economic Cooperation Zone, marking the beginning of construction of the Whole-process Internet of Things Ecosystem (i.e. Internet of Things Interstellar Ecosystem Innovation Park) based on the Haier Industry 4.0 demonstration base with a total investment of 20 billion yuan. Zhou Yunjie, vice chairman of the board and president of Haier Group, Zhou An, head of Qingdao West Coast New Area Administrative Committee and District Mayor of the West Coast New Area, Yu Dongming, Chairman of the CPPCC Committee of the West Coast New Area, and Zhu Tieyi, head of the Administrative Committee of Qingdao International Economic Cooperation Zone attended the ceromony.

Phase I of Goodaymart Logistics, with an investment of 700 million yuan, is one of the projects in Haier Internet of Things Interstellar Ecosystem Innovation Park. With focus on integrated innovative logistic park featuring intelligent equipment, smart management and services, it will introduce such technologies as fully-automated five sides scanning, joint manipulator automatic palletizing, gantry manipulator picking, fully-automatic labeling, AGV dynamic management and big data analysis (user interactive platform). Upon completion, man-free operation with no lights on can be realized. While providing companies in the park with integrated supply chain management service, Goodaymart will further promote the overall logistics efficiency of society and promote the application of smart technology so as to better support Made in Qingdao and the development of the city’s “new retails” and the transformation of advanced manufacturing.

Internet of Things Interstellar Ecosystem Innovation Park, with a total investment of 20 billion yuan, is a whole-process Internet of Things project featuring integration of industry and city based on Haier Industry 4.0 Demonstration Base. In the park there are projects including Haier Smart Manufacturing Base, Haier COSMOPlat Industrial Internet Platform Ecosystem, commercialization of advanced smart manufacturing technologies, Haier National Innovation and Entrepreneurship Demonstration Platform (Sino-German), Goodaymart Logistics, “Internet of Food”, Internet of Clothes and their upstream and downstream supply chains partners, expert apartment, Haishanghai International Home Appliances and Smart Home Experience Mall, smart community, etc. The park is aimed at creating ever iterating and upgrading interstellar productivity through the synergistic integration of projects and leading to ultimate experience of Life X.0.
