The 2nd Forum of International Business Environment in China & The Conference of Assessment Report on Business Environmental Development in Chinese Cities 2020 was held in Beijing on August 30. At the meeting, China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ) Qingdao Area was recognized among “Top 10 Industrial Parks in International Business Environment”, together with Zhongguancun Science Park, Suzhou Industrial Park and Shanghai Zhangjiang National Innovation Demonstration Zone.
This forum was sponsored by Global Times, for which Global Times Research Center provided data and research support. The survey of business environment in Chinese cities was conducted by means of big data mining and analysis and professional evaluation by experts and scholars based on five key indicators, namely the government affairs management efficiency, industrial strength, business vitality, social creativity and park brand influence.
The survey shows that Qingdao Area has made good progress in deepening the reforms to streamline administration, delegate power, improve regulation, and upgrade services and in accelerating the building of a market-oriented and law-based international business environment. While empowering the steady growth of enterprises, Qingdao Area has also provided efficient services for them. With these efforts, Qingdao Area was finally recognized among “Top 10 Industrial Parks in International Business Environment”.
