On the morning of June 28, Qingdao International Economic Cooperation Zone (Sino-German Ecopark) witnessed the ground-breaking ceremony of its first project invested by a Zhejiang company—CHINT Qingdao Heguang Juneng Technology Sino-German Ecopark Production Base. 

The Production Base is invested and constructed by Qingdao Hengrui CHINT New Energy Co., Ltd. with a total investment of 100 million yuan. Covering a land area of about 0.73 hectares, it mainly focuses on production of air-source heat pump system for North China. It offers green, efficient and smart hybrid energy products and smart comprehensive energy efficiency integration services by applying CHINT’s photovoltaic, energy storage, smart power distribution technologies and systems. Upon completion and full-capacity operation, the project can achieve a yearly revenue of 300 million yuan.
