On May 25, QIECZ was approved as a provincial sports industry demonstration base, further enhancing its status and reputation in the sports industry.

It is learnt that Shandong Provincial Sports Industry Demonstration Base is a program entitled by Shandong Provincial Sports Bureau which selects a group of influential and competitive organizations or institutions in certain key areas of the sports industry as well as activities or programs with outstanding track records and good economic and social benefits in designated fields of the sports industry which are located in regions with sound foundation, considerable scale and distinctive features in terms of the development of the sports industry. 

In recent years, QIECZ has focused on boosting the sports industry and strived to become a frontrunner in this area. It has brought in advanced sport culture resources and brands covering football, thematic road races, water sports, skiing, Kung fu, sports venue operation, etc., so as to create a flagship platform for international sport culture exchanges and cooperation.
