At about 10 am on June 22, the foundation ceremony of the Black Cat Group (Qingdao) Enterprise Technology Center was successfully held at the Qingdao Black Cat Project in Qingdao International Economic Cooperation Zone. The official opening of the center provided an implementation platform for Black Cat Group to integrate internal scientific and technological resources and accelerate the construction of innovative enterprises. In the future, the technology center will focus on new areas, making every effort to create a source of original technology in the industry, focusing on key core technologies, green intelligence, low-carbon and emission reduction, and creating a competitive and influential advanced material research and development platform.

Qingdao Black Cat New Material Research Institute Co., Ltd. project started in March 2019. In 2021, the second phase of the project started construction, and the first phase of the project was completed and put into operation afterwards. The second phase of the project was completed in May 2022. The enterprise technology center will build a domestic first-class R&D laboratory in carbon black industry, equipped with complete testing equipment for chemical properties and physical properties of polymer carbon materials, among which nearly 100 sets of precision instruments and equipment, imported equipment accounting for more than 90%, and equipment assets worth a total of nearly 30 million yuan.
