Recently, Qingdao Integrated Circuit Industrial Park was awarded another 100 million yuan of municipal funding support for the construction of professional parks for emerging industries. The allocation of this fund will further strengthen the progress of infrastructure construction in the industrial park, and continuously improve the municipal supporting capacity for projects settled in the industrial park, injecting strong vitality into empowering the high-quality development of the park and building a new development pattern for emerging industrial parks.

It is reported that, in order to guarantee the rapid development of municipal emerging industry professional parks, Qingdao has provided 100 million yuan in construction funding support for listed professional parks for three consecutive years. Qingdao Free Trade Zone Administrative Committee promptly organised relevant departments and enterprises, set up a special working group, and actively connected with Municipal Development and Reform Commission, Municipal Finance Bureau and other relevant competent departments to fully track and coordinate the application for municipal park construction funds. On October 31, Qingdao IC Industrial Park was awarded another 100 million yuan of construction funds for professional parks, which is the second consecutive year for the municipal IC industrial park to obtain professional parks construction funds.

Qingdao IC Industrial Park was officially unveiled on November 26, 2022, which is one of the first batch of municipal high-level professional emerging industry parks approved by the city, with a planned area of 13,550 mu, focusing on the development of IC manufacturing, equipment, packaging and testing, R&D and design and other fields. It has settled 40 key enterprises such as Qingdao Sifang SRI Intellectual Technology Co.,Ltd., Qingdao Zhongwei Chuangxin Electronics Co.,Ltd., Qingdao Fang Yi Technology Co.,Ltd., Qingdao Beslan Semiconductor Technology Co.,Ltd., etc., with a total investment of 179.3 billion RMB, and the development trend of IC industry agglomeration has been initially formed. In 2023, the park was ranked 14th on the list of “Top 30 Comprehensive Competitiveness of IC Parks in China”, and Qingdao was ranked 84th among the top 100 cities with comprehensive competitiveness of the IC industry in the world. And Shandong Province accelerated the creation of a highland of integrated circuit industry concentration.
