The 2023 Bayern Munich National Fan Match was held at the Bayern Munich Qingdao Football School in Sino-German Ecopark on April 1st and 2nd. More than 210 fans from 14 cities, including Beijing, Hangzhou, Dalian and other cities, formed a city league team, and played more than 40 soccer matches in 2 match days.
Guests including Claudio Pizarro, the official ambassador of Bayern Munich; Philipp Wendlich, Head of East Asia Area of FC Bayern Munich; SONG Wei, Chairman of Sino-German United Group Limited; PAN Peng, Director of Affairs to Germany of Sino-German United Group; and Dominic Woellinger, Youth Training Director of the Qingdao Soccer School of Bayern Munich attended the opening ceremony.
Pizarro, who made his speech at the Sino-German Ecopark, interacted with the fans in a friendly manner and spoke on the spot. He said, "I am very happy to meet so many fans and friends in Qingdao and feel the enthusiasm of everyone. I hope everyone can enjoy the matches here."
The fan match was 7v7. 14 fan teams competed fiercely through more than 40 group matches, knockout matches and qualifying matches. Allianz Bayern Qingdao Fan Club narrowly won the champion of the fan tournament with a slight victory of 1-0 over Suzhou Bayern Fan Club. At the award ceremony, Pizarro presented the awards to the prize winners.
After a year and a half, "Bayern fans" from all over the country gathered in Sino-German Ecopark again to share this soccer carnival feast. The 2nd Bayern Munich National Fan Match has continuously created opportunities for Chinese Bayern fans to learn from each other and exchange ideas. At the same time, Bayern Munich Qingdao Football School also plays the role of a bridge to better export Bayern's advanced soccer educational idea, contributing to the development of Chinese soccer and Chinese soccer youth training.
In October 2016, China-Germany Ecopark and FC Bayern Munich signed an official agreement at the Chinese Embassy in Berlin, Germany, to jointly establish the first Bayern Munich Football School in China. "Youth Training" system of Bayern Munich's also entered China for the first time.
Every year, Bayern Munich Qingdao Football School organizes Bayern professional coaches and experts to carry out special soccer training for key P.E. teachers from primary and secondary schools, and youth soccer training for youngsters. At the same time, the school gives full play to the German resource advantage and has organized international youth soccer tournaments such as Bayern Youth Cup China Final and Adidas Youth Cup for three consecutive years with the orientation of "Bringing in and Going out".
Over the past six years, Bayern Munich Qingdao Football School has responded positively to the strategic requirements of the national development of campus soccer. It is committed to building a campus soccer training system in Qingdao and promoting the German youth training system to serve the development of youth soccer in China. In the future, Bayern Munich Qingdao Football School will further enhance the overall level of cooperation, create a high-level soccer ecosystem, and contribute to the cultivation of youth players and key coaches in China in education, sports, international exchange and cooperation, and other related fields.
