Recently, the China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone Qingdao Area (SDPFTZ Qingdao Area) organized the sixth session of study tour themed "Intelligent Manufacturing and Cutting-edge Technology Exploration" for outstanding enterprises. Sixteen representatives from 13 enterprises engaged in sectors such as advanced manufacturing, shipping logistics, and international trade within the area participated in the event. Guo Baocun, Member of the Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Management Committee of the SDPFTZ Qingdao Area, led a delegation to participate in the event.

This event focused on cutting-edge fields, including intelligent manufacturing, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and new energy applications. Representatives from various enterprises visited leading companies in the industry, including Schneider Electric (China) Co., Ltd., ByteDance Headquarters, and Baidu Apollo Park Autonomous Driving Base. They observed cutting-edge technological products and application scenarios firsthand and gained valuable insights from these benchmark companies about their mature experience and advanced concepts in technological R&D, innovation, and industrial implementation.

Zhang Cong, Deputy General Manager of Qingdao SRI Intellectual Technology Co., Ltd., stated that this study tour offered direct insights into the latest industry development trends and provided valuable guidance for enterprises seeking to integrate digitalization and AI technologies. Since the beginning of this year, the SDPFTZ Qingdao Area has focused on meeting the needs of enterprises throughout their entire life cycle and has organized a series of study tour activities for outstanding enterprises. To date, 100 representatives from 64 enterprises, including Panasonic and Qingdao SRI Intellectual Technology Co., Ltd., have been organized to participate in exchange visits to countries such as Singapore and Japan, as well as leading domestic cities such as Beijing and Shenzhen. During these visits, 39 local enterprises reached preliminary cooperation agreements with benchmark enterprises at these destinations.

Moving forward, the SDPFTZ Qingdao Area will foster more high-level platforms for exchange and collaboration, enabling enterprises within the area to connect with cutting-edge technologies, embrace advanced concepts, and achieve higher-quality, stable development.
