In July 2014, the Intellectual Property Center was approved for establishment. It is an intellectual property public administration and service organization under the jurisdiction of the Management Committee of Qingdao International Economic Cooperation Zone (Sino-German Ecopark), which integrates patents (including invention patents, utility model patents and design patents), trademarks, copyrights, new plant variety rights and trade secrets.
